Bolivia is a country of extremes, where landscapes shift from high-altitude deserts to glowing salt flats and lush valleys in a matter of hours. It’s home to places like Salar de Uyuni, where the ground turns into a mirror after rain, and La Paz, a city carved into steep mountainsides that feels unlike anywhere else (and it’s the highest administrative city in the world!) Beyond the scenery, Bolivia is shaped by deep Indigenous heritage, colorful markets, and everyday traditions that are still very present in daily life.

I solo traveled through Bolivia, moving between remote destinations where long drives often connected each stop, but each stretch revealed something new along the way. It’s a place that feels raw, layered, and full of contrast, where the journey itself becomes part of the experience!
